What do Whirlpool Compatible Vents Look Like?

Solution

Every Full Size Whirlpool front-load washer has a compatible vent.  This will use the Washer Fan Breeze's magnetic design; the attached magnets hold the fan firmly in place. There are four types of Whirlpool compatible vents.  The W-1 and W-2 vents have round plastic vents with a crisscross plastic waffle pattern. The W-3 vent has a metal louvered vent, approximately 3 inches x 3 inches square and the W-4 vent has round holes punched into the back of the washer’s sheet metal.  All four vents are found on the top right-hand corner when looking at the back of your washer.
