Full-Size Maytag and Amana front-load washers in the US and Canada and manufactured after early 2006 have a compatible vent for magnetic installation of Washer Fan Breeze on the back of the washer. Older Full-Size Maytag and Amana front-load washers do not have a compatible vent, so Washer Fan Breeze is attached with magnets or straps in the washer's door. Please look at the back of your Maytag or Amana front-load washer to determine if it has a compatible vent.
There are six types of Maytag and Amana compatible vents. Three of the compatible vents are round, white plastic vents; one is a metal louvered vent (3 inches x 3 inches); one has holes punched into the sheet metal back of the washer, and one is an open metal circle.
